- August 12, 2013 - Via Frits Abell: "From Carly, head of the Elmwood Village Association: "That house had a fire in April, and was deemed a total loss by its insurance company. It was recently sold. I've spoken to the new owner, and he intends to knock it down in the short term and leave it as green space... in the longer term he will build a new building.""
- August 26, 2013 - Possible that the house could be demolished as early as this week
- September 3, 2013 - Demolition application received by the Preservation Board.
- September 19, 2013 - Preservation Board hearing - "No action taken. Applicant failed to appear before the board to present the project."
- November 6, 2013 - House demolished
