History
- Former site of night clubs Compton’s After Dark and then Playaz Club.
- Scott Glasgow: "The small timber frame dwelling hidden behind the storefront is a modest example of an early Federal Style House. This area was the heart of the original Village of Upper Black Rock (the part of Black Rock that was burned in 1813). The house could very well be the oldest structure in Buffalo."
Recent Events and Actions Taken
- March 2014 - Sugar City, a DIY art collective, announced plans to renovate the building for a 170 person capacity art and performance center.
