History
- Webster Wagner invented his first palace car, "the first ever seen in America," in 1867.
- The company became the second largest builder of sleeping cars in the United States.
- The company was bought out by its competitor, The Pullman Palace Car Co., on Jan. 1, 1900.
- The plant was in operation by Pullman until 1959.
- For 30 years, it served hundreds of passenger trains that stopped at the Buffalo Central Terminal.
