- Irving Price was a co-founder of East Aurora's Fisher Price toy company. He and his wife Margaret Evans Price, also a co-founder and art director, lived in this house at the time of the company's founding in the 1930s.

- June 2014 - The East Aurora Trustees declared the building a local landmark.

- 5/1/2014: From East Aurora Trustee Ernie Scheer: "There is an Historic Preservation Board meeting tonight (Thursday, 5/1) 6pm at East Aurora Village Hall (next to police station). The board wants public comment and input as to whether the buildings should be knocked down for a parking lot. The owners will be present with their attorney. We need all the voices we can get so spread the word. I've contacted the media and as of now...Channel 4 is going to be there."
- Gene Wachala, operator of Pasquale's Italian restaurant across Main Street, bought the property in 2012 with the intention of demolishing it for increased parking for his business.
- Wachala has approached the Village government to get permission to demolish but is getting some resistance from Village trustees, who point out the value of East Aurora's well known historic, small-town urban fabric.
- May 2015: Real estate brokers Daniel Kieffer and Barry Chubb will buy the house for $320,000. They will renovate the Price house into their new East Aurora headquarters.
