The explanation states that James Swiezy purchased the house from tax foreclosure auction in poor condition and he doesn't want to spend the money to fix it. The applicant stated that he just wants site control for the possibility of an undisclosed future development nearby, which leaves a vacant lot for the discernible future.
- He also applied to demolish 550 Grant Street and 126 Hawley Street at the same time.
