The agency will vote on that Aug. 10. The upper two floors of the 198-year-old building, at 460 Center St., will be converted into nine Airbnb rooms and two apartments. Tom Fox, Ellicott director of development, said the basement and first floor will be retail, office and restaurant space. Renovations will start this fall and finished by summer. Ellicott bought the Frontier House in January 2019 for $800,000. The Frontier House has been on the National Register of Historic Places since July 1974 but has been vacant since 2014."
