Three story brick and stone industrial building dating to the late 1800s. Part of a larger complex with 46,193 sq.ft. on 1.19 acres
Current Condition
Appears to be stable and possibly in use, but in poor appearance. Cornice missing, windows bricked up, brick facade painted, entrances modified.
History
- 1867 - Charles A. Drescher & Son's was founded in another location. They are a 'manufacturer of jigsaw puzzles, game boards and setup boxes.'
- 1978 - Drescher & Sons acquired by J. Baird Langworthy, who renamed it Drescher Paper Box.
- 1979 - 'Company added die-cut puzzles to its product line with purchase of Tuco Puzzles'
- 1989 - Drescher moves into 459 Broadway
