- May 30, 1927 - The Great Lakes Theatre was opened
- 1949 - Name change to Paramount Theater
- 1965 - Became Nemmer Furniture.
- 1996 - City Centre condos were built by reinforcing the steel structure to support four more stories. The exterior was re-skinned.
