Recent Events and Actions Taken
- The Olmsted Parks Conservancy would like to acquire and move the barn back to the park where it was originally sited (Martin Luther King Jr.), where it will be a working building, part of the greenhouse complex.
- Cost to purchase, move, renovate and restore other portions of the barn is as much as $500,000.
- Money is very tight for the Conservancy at this time, so support and leadership from an independent group is the likeliest short-term approach.
