A proposed local historic district, centered on the Michigan/Sycamore intersection.
Preservation Buffalo Niagara is working behind the scenes to save the remaining fabric of this historic district, which is significant in that a number of the buildings are pre-Civil War era and it sits adjacent to the Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor.
Stay tuned for upcoming developments, and please help spread the word. The more eyes and ears we can gather on this issue, the more helpful we feel it will be to save some at-risk structures in this district.
